Before you begin to complete the STEM Teacher Leadership Program application, we encourage you to read through the program details on our website: https://ceismc.gatech.edu/community/stlp.
Also, please review the Teacher Expectations document before beginning your application. You will be required to review this document with your principal and submit it as part of your application. The signed Teacher Expectations document may be uploaded as part of the application form or submitted afterwards by email (stlp@ceismc.gatech.edu) or fax ( 404-894-9675, “Attention: Honeywell STLP Program”). Your application will not be reviewed until we have received your signed Teacher Expectations document.
Once you start the application, please review ALL the questions. Once you save and submit your application, you will not be able to log back in to make corrections.
Please note that applications are due close-of-business on April 19th.
Below you will find a few questions from the application that may require extra research:
- Electronic version of your Resume or Curriculum Vitae (accepted extensions: .pdf; .doc; .docx;)
- Georgia Educator Certificate Number
- Georgia Tech ID Number (if you have one)
- Superintendent’s name and district mailing address
- Principal’s name and school mailing address
- Number of students attending the school where you currently teach
- The percentage of students eligible for free or reduced lunch
- The enrollment by Race/Ethnicity for your school. This information can be found at this link: https://schoolgrades.georgia.gov/
- Describe how the STEM Teacher Leadership Program would benefit you and your students (Limit 2000 characters)
