School and Community Engagement is a core program area within the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC), focused on strengthening STEM and STEAM teaching and learning through partnerships with schools, districts, and communities across Georgia. Led by Dr. Norman “Storm” Robinson III, the team designs and delivers research‑informed professional learning, project‑based curriculum, and student experiences that support high‑quality instruction, increase student engagement, and expand access to meaningful STEM opportunities. The work connects classrooms, families, and community organizations to support pathways in areas such as computer science, robotics, and urban agriculture, while also providing expertise and consultation to schools pursuing STEM/STEAM certification and long‑term, community‑centered impact.
