Student Assistant Application 2023

The School and Community Engagement group at CEISMC located at GA Tech has positions available to help organize and support our 2023-2024 outreach programs for K-12 teachers and students. Students who are organized and detail-oriented with experience in event planning, outreach education, or STEAM-related topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Requirements
If you are not eligible for federal work-study, you are still encouraged to submit an application, as we do have openings for non work-study students.

Many students are eligible for work-study and do not know it!  If you are not sure about your work-study status, contact the FWS team at fws@finaid.gatech.edu to determine if you are work-study eligible.  Make sure you include your GT ID number on all correspondence.

Files must be less than 10 MB.
Allowed file types: pdf.
*A background investigation will be performed. This is required by Georgia Tech and due to the nature of this position (i.e. working with children in a school setting).
Availability and Preferences

For each day of the week, please select the times you are AVAILABLE to work between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Note:  If you are selected, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the schedule you desire. Please submit your application when are confident about your availability.

Initial Training

All student assistants must attend a mandatory orientation and training. During the orientation and training, you will receive more information about your duties as well as training on techniques and policies to ensure successful service with CEISMC.  Training is mandatory; all sessions are required and must be completed in order to serve as a Student Assistant at CEISMC. (Date to be determined)
