4th - 5th Grade After School Virtual Workshops - Code, Craft, and Storytelling (2-day Workshop)

A 2-day creative adventure in programming and telling your story. Learn to code using block code, programming, micro:bit, crafts, and storytelling. Each participant with code and construct an interactive piece based on their creative story. This is a 2-day workshop. Day 1 - November 11, 2020. Day 2 - December 9, 2020.

Technology Requirements:

Laptop or Computer, (windows, mac, or Chromebook), internet access, and headphones.

Micro:bit:

Required Supplies:

  • Sketch Pad/Notebook
  • Scissors/Cutting Tools
  • Markers/Coloring Pencils (variety)
  • Tape (clear or masking)
  • Glue (white or glue stick)

Recommended Craft Materials:

  • 1 sheet of bubble wrap
  • recycled materials (paper cups, egg crate, shoebox, etc.)
  • construction paper
  • stickers, feathers, googly eyes, etc.
  • popsicle sticks
  • pipe cleaners
