Joëlle Walls is Manager, Communications for Georgia Tech’s College of Lifetime Learning. She leads strategic communications and storytelling for programs and initiatives that connect Georgia Tech with learners and communities, including the EXCEL Program, the Institute's inclusive postsecondary education program.
With nearly 25 years of experience spanning higher education communications, K–12 education, and freelance writing, Joëlle brings both a communicator’s and an educator’s perspective to her work. Her background includes leadership roles in the University of Georgia Provost’s Office, research communications at Kennesaw State University, and experience as a K–5 educator and reading specialist. At the heart of her work is a commitment to sharing stories, building relationships, and connecting people with educational opportunities.
