Horizons at Georgia Tech Now Hiring K-12 Educators and Georgia Tech Students

Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) is looking for K-12 educators and Georgia Tech students to serve as Horizons at Georgia Tech Lead Teachers and Assistant Teacher Interns respectively. These are paid positions that will help with the 2023 Horizons at Georgia Tech summer program that lasts for six weeks from June 5 – July 14, 2023. Staff will also be expected to attend pre-training, orientation, and post-planning sessions.

Horizons at Georgia Tech seeks to help children of limited financial means to find success in school and to set high goals for themselves including high school graduation and participation in post-secondary educational experiences. Horizons is committed to the development of the whole child through experiences that enhance confidence, foster awareness of community responsibility, build problem-solving skills, and encourage a life-long interest in learning. All Horizons students learn how to swim, making them safer and building confidence. The Horizons staff encourage children to take charge of their lives and realize their full potential.

Interested Lead Teacher applicants should send their resumes and references to Dajuana Robinson, Horizons Program Manager at horizonsgt@gatech.edu by March 15, 2023. More information about the positions can be found here
