November 10, 2025 | Atlanta, GA

Faculty are invited to participate in the 10th STEAM Leadership Conference at Georgia Tech. The 10th convening of Georgia Tech’s STEAM Leadership Conference will take place February 27-28, 2026, with day one held virtually and day two on campus.

Organized and hosted by the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC), the conference provides a forum for K-12 educators, university research collaborators, industry professionals, community partners and other stakeholders to share innovations and best practices that advance STEAM education.

Proposals are currently being accepted for three tracks aligned with the theme: “STEAM Without Walls: Bridging Classrooms, Communities, and Careers.” Faculty involved in broader impacts or other research-based efforts that include teaching innovations in K-12 and/or higher education are invited to participate.

One track focuses on making STEAM teaching practices more engaging, equitable, and future-focused. Another track highlights sustainable partnerships that connect students to real-world applications of STEAM. The final track explores broader impacts, from workforce development to policy innovation.

“Georgia Tech faculty lead the way in transforming STEAM education, with many incorporating broader impacts into their research grants that aim to expand public understanding and education around their work,” said Heidi Turcotte, program director for campus and community coordination at CEISMC. “This conference is an excellent opportunity to showcase those efforts, build new collaborations, and inspire the next generation of learners and leaders. It celebrates the power of innovation to break down barriers across all stages of education—from classrooms to careers—connecting K-12 and higher education with communities and industries.”

Proposals will be accepted through November 30, 2025. For submission guidelines, please visit: https://steamleadership.ceismc.gatech.edu/proposals.
