Nisa Floyd is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology at Georgia State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in English, along with a TEFL certificate, also from GSU. Nisa founded Art Makes during the pandemic, an organization dedicated to supporting art spaces in developing K-12 curricula and creating art kits for community organizations that serve deliberately underserved students and children.
With a background as a museum educator at Atlanta Contemporary, she developed both K-12 and adult programming in collaboration with studio artists. Nisa uses this background in arts integration to enhance to STEM programs she is apart of at Georgia Tech which has helped increase student engagement.
