Nathan Heald currently serves as the Assistant Director & Senior Lecturer with the EXCEL program at Georgia Tech. He holds an MBA from Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business (2023) and a Master's in Social Work from Georgia State University (2014), where he completed a fellowship in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities.
Bringing over 18 years of non-profit experience to his role, Nathan previously worked as the Employment Manager with All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD) in Decatur. There, he designed and implemented successful supported and customized employment programs. By utilizing best practices for integrating individuals with disabilities into community-based employment, he led his team to place over 60 individuals in competitive roles.
Earlier in his career, Nathan worked in Tübingen, Germany, to develop programs promoting the inclusion of diverse university students. He first joined EXCEL as a Career Development Coordinator/Lecturer, empowering and training students through teaching, advisement, and internship development.
