Joëlle Walls is the Communications Manager for Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) in the College of Lifetime Learning. She leads strategic communications for CEISMC’s statewide initiatives connecting Georgia Tech with K–12 communities and the EXCEL Program, the Institute’s inclusive postsecondary education program.
With nearly 25 years of experience spanning higher education communications, K–12 education, and freelance writing, Joëlle brings a strategic approach to institutional storytelling and culture‑building. Her background includes leadership roles in the University of Georgia Provost’s Office, research communications at Kennesaw State University, and service as a K–5 educator and reading specialist. Her work focuses on aligning communications across institutions and audiences to advance shared educational goals.
