Douglas Edwards is a former electrical engineer with the US Air Force and Associate Professor of Information Technology that instructed computer networking, IT project management, and computer programming. He has also instructed high school mathematics, engineering, and computer science and co-founded the only high school chapter of Engineers Without Borders. He has done solar energy engineering projects with high school students from locally in Atlanta to internationally in Tanzania and South Africa. Doug develops K-12 science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and STEM curriculum and implements online and face-to-face teacher professional learning. His current research focus centers on computer science STEAM curriculum and professional development.
